Section 1.  America’s constitutional history and historical experience is unique among nations and revered by the American people.  America’s early development and establishment as an independent nation, confirms that her Christian Judeo influences are profound.  Worshiping and honoring Almighty God and recognition of His plan of redemption for all mankind through His Son Jesus Christ was the central motivation of Americans from the Mayflower Compact, to the new Constitution, to this present day.  America’s Declaration of Independence, Constitution and the Constitutions in the States all recognize Almighty God as creator, redeemer and protector of our nation and citizens.  Growth of America’s Christian Judeo heritage is confirmed in the fact that over 300,000 churches have been established in the name of Jesus Christ.  Thousands of Christian missionaries have been sent to nations all over the world to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Supreme Court in 1892 declared that America is a Christian nation.  All this and much more confirms that America has a rich history centered in a Christian faith.

Section 2.  The government is hereby prohibited from intruding or interfering with the rights of citizens to practice their faith and religion according to their conscience in both public and private settings.

Section 3.  To secure the rights of citizens, the government is prohibited from passing any law, enacting any regulation or adjudicating any matter that would diminish or prohibit the right of citizens to practice their faith and religion in public or private settings.

Section 4.  This Article does not prevent the government from enforcing reasonable laws that may be needed to maintain stability and order in society.

Section 5.  The provisions of this Article are enforceable within the United States which shall include the Several States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the territories and possessions of the United States.

Section 6. Congress shall have the power to enforce by appropriate legislation, the provisions of the Article.
