PRESIDENTIAL VOTES BY STATE

VOTING STRATEGY

The percentage of votes that are needed to win a ballot Initiative can range from 9% to 49.2% of the total vote cast.  The reason for this is the fact that not all voters vote for Initiative or Referenda issues.  Voter turnout in Presidential years is substantially higher than in Congressional years.  The following data shows approximate voting results in Initiative and Referenda States in recent Presidential years.  The number of voters who would vote for a ballot Initiative in a Congressional year is considerably lower than the results shown in the following table.  This fact should fare well for CITIZEN INITIATIVES and proposed Legislative Calls for a “SINGLE ISSUE” Federal Conventions.   Our strategy will be to qualify for State ballots, where necessary, in non-Presidential years.
